Breaking news should be information that you need RIGHT NOW . WBAL seems to think that it’s whatever story one of their reporters just completed

This week I cannot read the closings and delays list. Please fix this.

I love how this app keeps me updated on breaking news. It’s a great supplement to watching on TV!

App is unusable now. You can’t get through reading an article without closing at least 3 pop ups. They are relentless.

Just like their website you are presented with 3 minutes of adds then it loops back to the home page.

Love the content. Please update to stop crashing.

After scrolling down two articles, the page freeezes ! The a few moments later, exits to my Home Screen!

Why can’t I find NFL playoff information not related to the Ravens in the Sports section?!? Isn’t this relevant sports information? I love the Ravens, but I follow other teams as well in the playoffs. I don’t expect results of every NFL game during the regular season, but can we atleast have a list of the final playoff scores or the current brackets? I shouldn’t have to use google for this “news” when I use WBAL for my “news” app!

Never updates especially on weekends or holidays.

1. It keeps showing that I have a new notification, but when I check I have none. Very annoying. 2. Does not show current news and seems to take nearly 24 hours to update the news feed. Terrible news app. Fix these problems and it will be great.

With the Channel 2 WMAR app you can watch live news broadcasts. Channel 11 should add that to their app.

The updates are great, keeps you aware of what is got on in area, the state, nation wide, and around the Wortham you might not have been aware.

This could be a decent app but the number of ads you have to wade through is ridiculous. You can barely open a story without having to wade through an ad. You can do better!

Just doesn’t work great. Can’t find things they talk about on news.

This is a great source of local Baltimore news, but at times can be difficult to navigate. Most frustrating is receiving a push notification that entices you, then the notification is cleared before you can click on it (clear notifications or reading the push on your Apple Watch). When you enter the app there is nowhere to see what the push notifications were like I am able to do with all the other news apps I use. The pushed article is rarely on the home page. I’ve been unable to read so many articles because I can’t find them or remember enough about the topic to use search effectively.

More often than not, when a notification comes in on my phone, I can’t find the story on the app. I should just be able to tap on the notification and go to the story but it doesn’t work that way. Also, most of the “breaking news” is uninteresting. I wish there was an option for major updates, not so much random stuff.

Love WBAL!!! It’s my go to News channel every time!! It’s a GREAT team, a class act, and everyone is extremely knowledgeable in their field! They are ALWAYS up to date on news,weather, and what’s currently going on in not only Baltimore but all over the world! They will always start and end your day with a smile! Kimmie🙂

Create an app for Apple TV so I don’t have to watch that geriatric Marty bass anymore.

Don’t send me a notification with breaking news and then not take me to the article. Sssoooooo annoying. Does this all the time unless you wait for a few hours. And, if you miss clicking on the notification, at least allow me to find the article if I launch the app. This bug has been around for years. App has potential but is constantly riddled with annoying bugs

Right now, the app only supports AirPlay. AirPlay is really inconvenient. Chromecast is significantly better, so it would be great if the app supported it. I have no interest in using this app unless I can cast it to my TV, but AirPlay doesn’t really allow me to do that.

I would give the app 5 star if they weren’t jamming Toyota commercials down our throats. Too, too many commercials. I hate foreign car commercials, it’s unpatriotic. Fix the app so we can at least skip these relentless, unwanted commercials. BUY AMERICAN!!! I originally wrote this review a year ago and obviously no one is listening to any of these reviews. The adds are getting worse. I may drop this app like many others have.

The ads are ridiculous and sometimes just plain disrespectful. Trying to read about someone who was murdered? Gotta sit through a minute long as first. App itself isn’t bad but this is insanity.

WBAL App is very informative in its news coverage and latest news updates.

I enjoy receiving the up to the minute updates during the day . It keeps me informed on what is happening both locally and from around the Country and the World.

I detest the ads that run prior to a breaking news story, but I get particularly peeved when they are placed prior to a live press conference. You must wait until the ad runs for a few seconds before you can bypass it and get on with the information you want to view. It seems as though the ads could be placed for convenience.

I have grown up depending on WBAL for news, weather and reliable local information. I am delighted to see it has flourished over the years. While I get world news from other sources, no one beats WBAL for keeping me informed about my home town. Thank you and keep it up!

I like keeping up with what’s going on with the alerts. It’s informative and timely.

WBAL is my favorite station. Weather team is the greatest. News team is tops. The APP IS WORKING GREAT. I have used this app for years no problem and always updated with great features and options to keep on local news.

I’ve been a long time user of WBAL for weather especially. The radar map drives me crazy because the loop has so much history it takes forever to get to the past couple hours that are most relevant. Especially important in summer when evaluating outdoor activities.

At times the news will take a situation and blow it up to scare the public in many different ways they do this for different reasons if you’re going to watch the news make sure that you take things a little at a time

No fair and balanced reporting here. I have unsubscribed from the News feeds. I only get weather now. Which they get wrong half the time.

I like the app because I was born in Baltimore and lived in Maryland for most of my life but now live in Tennessee. I like being able to keep up with MD/Baltimore news. I would like to see one change - when I tap on the app because I’ve received a notification the app should take me to that news story. I use a local TN news app and it takes me directly to the notification story.

Once a story has been posted for 12 hours it becomes obsolete. Take them down and put up current news.

I like the weather information and radar. This app gives good surface coverage of local events but the articles lack depth and there is never any follow up or updates. Sometimes the same article is present for 3 or 4 days and not updated. You basically are left with just the headline.

I’ve just attempted...for the third time this week...to update the website. Nothing happens???

I’ve done this multiple times it’s never changed you keep asking me I’ll keep giving it one star horrible

There are more adds than news! News is not current. There is more older news.

No ability to zoom App refresh is eons long I avoid this app and use others for news & weather

I am a native Baltimorean and recently retired. I have been living in PA and am connected to the sister station WGAL. I was so happy to download the WBAL app and remain connected to the news in MD. The updates allow me to keep my finger on the pulse of news and events TWO states! Thanks for always presenting a thorough and professional news update when I need it.
